Why measure impact?
Measuring impact is, for Stichting ZERO, more than an obligation towards funders and partners. It is an essential part of how we work.
By evaluating systematically, we gain insight into what works, for whom, and under what circumstances. This helps us to:
- Refine and improve our approach
- Better connect with the needs of young people
- Demonstrate the effectiveness of our projects
- Be accountable to stakeholders

Our evaluation methodology
Qualitative evaluation forms the core of our approach. We believe that the depth of personal development cannot always be captured in numbers.
Reflection conversations
Regular one-on-one conversations with participants about their experience and development
Progress observations
Systematic observations by mentors during activities and programs
Stories and case studies
Documentation of personal development journeys and success stories
Feedback sessions
Group conversations in which participants share their experiences
In addition to qualitative methods, we also collect quantitative data to identify trends and make results measurable.
