Domains
Stichting ZERO works at the intersection of various social domains. Within these areas of work, we offer projects and programs in which young people and young adults can stay involved over the long term.
Our approach is preventive, relational and close, with attention to structure, development and perspective.
Target group
Young people and young adults who benefit from structure, proximity and perspective, and who are at risk of dropout, stagnation or isolation.
The challenge
Many young people experience a gap between their world and existing systems, and between talent and future perspective. This can lead to declining motivation, uncertainty and limited ownership.
Our approach
Stichting ZERO works preventively and long-term, building on lasting relationships and familiar places. Sport, culture and development are used as a means, in collaboration with network partners from sports, education, care and welfare.
Intended results
Our efforts are aimed at:
- strengthening self-confidence and self-worth
- more structure and a greater sense of responsibility
- a more realistic future perspective
- lasting engagement with education, work or society
Results become visible in the attitude, behavior and engagement of young people.
Collaboration partners
Stichting ZERO works together with, among others:
- Municipality of Zwolle
- Sport Service Zwolle
- educational institutions
- social organizations
